Today I want you to meet Cathy Bonneau.
Cathy is a busy mom of three and just had her first grandchild.She was struggling with cravings and weight gain and just wasn't feeling good about the way her clothes were fitting. She wanted to slim down in a healthy way and keep the weight off. The most important thing for her was to do it in the healthiest way possible and in a way that was a good example for her husband and son.
Here's what Cathy has to say about the beginning of her journey...

Cathy is a busy mom of three and just had her first grandchild.She was struggling with cravings and weight gain and just wasn't feeling good about the way her clothes were fitting. Here's what Cathy has to say about the beginning of her journey...
"I have completed one week of my health journey. Looking at myself in the mirror, I felt disappointment as I didn't see any changes. 'It's only been seven days,' I told myself. 'Don't be so hard on yourself!'Reluctantly I took my measurements. I have lost 4.75 inches and 2.5 of those off my waist! The scale says I have dropped 3.1 lbs!
My daughter and grandson were here for the past five days and although she and her husband eat pretty clean, she considers time at mom's a mini vacation and tends to indulge. I didn't have much for goodies but even when she did snack, I continued with healthy snacks. We did go to a restaurant one day and I ordered a healthy entree and never even snitched a single fry from my daughter's plate.
It's amazing that my cravings are pretty much gone. I tend to think about food a lot and evenings are the worst. Yet this entire week, I have had few cravings even at night! I look forward to finding delicious low glycemic recipes to try and I definitely have more energy.
Week number two....bring it on!"
